“We started getting requests from teachers and City of Hamilton staff who wanted to be part of the building of AOR so our Project Mngr., Jeremy Frieberger put out a public call for volunteers on social media. What an incredible turn out of community that summer! Indigenous youth and elders, artists, teachers, community leaders and Hamiltonians who wanted to help and be part of this project, were instrumental in the building of this monumental installation. This is Indigenous public art.”
